Images of Uluru [Ayers Rock] and Kata Tjuta [The Olgas] in the
Northern Territory may not be published in any form [print, online,
film/video or artisitic impression] without the written permission
from the parks authority.
Professional photographers must obtain permission to photograph
these areas - some parts cannot be photographed at all as they
may be culturally sensitive or may only be viewed by certain people.
These regulations are also retroactive so regardless of the when
the image was taken it may not be published or shown to the public
without permission.
As a result of this Dishonline.com.au does not sell images of
these areas.

A recent court case in the United Kingdom ruled in model Naomi
Cambell's favour - allowing her claim that photos taken in a public
place - leaving an NA meeting - were invading her privacy. This
would indicate that Brits do have the right to privacy when in
a public place. Anyone buying images [taken in the UK, without
model release] for publication in the UK should check with their
legal representative regarding their rights. Photographers should
also be wary when snapping in the British public domain.
